For the dedicated dancer
Our scholarships are designed for young artists who demonstrate exceptional talent, drive, and commitment to dance. We support dancers aged 12 to 18 who are training intensely, often for more than 25 hours a week, preparing for productions, competitions, and performances. These are the students who truly embody the spirit and dedication of ballet.
Unlocking professional excellence
A San Antonio Youth Ballet, scholarships provide unparalleled access to professional training at our home, the San Antonio Ballet School. Dancers train using the prestigious American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum, recognized by the Department of Education. This curriculum fosters well-rounded dancers, blending French, Russian, and Italian schools of ballet, and is delivered by one of the world's most renowned ballet companies.
Impact beyond the studio
Our program helps students blossom, achieving remarkable success. Many have been invited to prestigious events like the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) finals and the Universal Ballet Competition (UBC) finals. Our dancers have also gained acceptance into highly competitive summer intensives both nationally and in Europe. This incredible journey is happening right here in San Antonio, cultivating the art of dance amongst future generations.
